REGISTER EARLY & SAVE!

We know what it’s like when you have a tribe, or when you’re racing all the time - or both! So get in early and save - it’s also really helpful for our planning! We don’t want anyone missing out on our very cool medals; that look great on their own but also link magnetically with medals from ‘In the Raw’ and ‘Coastal High’

The entry prices includes:

DISCOUNTS:

  • Groups, clubs, gyms and schools are encouraged to reach out for a discount code and save! Register your club, gym, parkrun or school with the race here and you can get a discount code to save 10% for members of your group (applicable from 2nd pricing block onwards).

    *Only one discount can apply. Discounts apply to registrations only.

Online entries remain open right up until race day – but the earlier you register, the more you save!

Minimum ages (aS At the time of the event):

  • 6.6km – minimum age is 8 years

  • 13.5km – minimum age is 12 years

  • 22km – minimum age is 15 years

  • 31km – minimum age is 16 years

Event Cut-offs:

  • 6.6km – no official cut-off

  • 13.5km – no official cut off

  • 22km – make Hoffschildt gate (6.7km) by 8:45am. Failure to do so will see you turned around and moved to the 13.5km event.

  • 31km – make 22km turn (11km mark) by 8:30am. Failure to do so will see you turned around and moved to the 22km event.

Cut-offs are to ensure we get off the course in a timely manner and that the demands on our volunteers and First Aid crews are not to onerous. Out of courtesy to those who sacrifice so that you may compete; please select events that ensure that you make cut-offs.

REFUND POLICY

OPTION 1) ENTRY TRANSFER

a) TRANSFER TO NEW PARTICIPANT

You can choose to transfer your entry to another participant for a $15 fee (payable by the recipient - plus whatever the agreed figure is that they pay you). After June 23rd, this fee increases to $20.

Entry transfers to new participants will be accepted until 1:59pm, Saturday August 3rd.

b) DISTANCE TRANSFER

This covers an existing participant transferring to a different distance to which you are currently registered. Note that if you wish to move from short course → long course you will be charged the additional entry fee; there is no fee refund when transferring from long → short. There is no additional charge for this transfer.

Entry transfers to a new distance for existing registered participants can be completed up until 1:59pm, Saturday August 3rd.

OPTION 2) ENTRY FEE REFUND

You can choose to take a refund of:

  • 75% of entry fee returned for withdrawals up to 4 weeks prior to the event

  • 60% of entry fee returned for withdrawals between 2 and 4 weeks prior to the event

  • 50% of entry fee returned for withdrawals between 72 hours and 2 weeks prior to the event

  • No refunds if withdrawing less than 72 hours prior to the event.

Alternatively, you can purchase the Refund Protection as part of the registration process.

EVENT CANCELLATION

In the event that the Event course is, in the opinion of the event organisers, unsafe (e.g. heavy rain, high winds, bushfires, "acts of god" etc), or at the direction of the QFRS, Gold Coast City Council, Tweed Shire Council or the NSW Department of Primary Industries, the Qld Department of Health or in accordance with any Queensland Government directives, or any other relevant authority, organisers may be required to postpone or cancel the event.

Every attempt will be made to reschedule. Should a participant be unable to make the rescheduled date or no suitable date be available (due to venue unavailability, clashes with other events, landowner changes, etc); then participants affected will be offered a deferment valid for the following two years (less an admin fee of $25 - and you will still receive your event medal and gift for this year).
