RACE CHECK-IN/REGISTRATION

Race packs and numbers will be available via mail-out (enter prior to July 10) and for collection; both prior to AND on race day.

PRE-EVENT

Thursday August 3rd* - TBC

  • 5:45pm - 6:30pm (prior to screening of Trails in Motion Film Festival).

Friday August 2nd

  • 6.00am – 6.40am. Cadence Cafe; 75 Nerang Connection Road, Nerang

Saturday August 3rd

  • 7:30am - 8:00am. Mudgeeraba parkrun, D’Arcy Doyle Oval, Somerset Drive, Mudgeeraba

  • 9.00am – 10.30am. Wild Earth; 25 Central Drive, Burleigh

RACE DAY BIB COLLECTION - SUNDAY AUGUST 4, 2024

  • 31km – 6.10-6.35am

  • 22km – 6.30-7.05am

  • 13.5km & 6.6km – 7.10-7.55am

We are staggering the collections to reduce congestion. Please take advantage of the mail-out option and pre-race day pick-ups or come at the allotted time.

Entries shall remain open ONLINE right up until race time unless SOLD OUT. We recommend early registrations for planning purposes (and to save money)! All entrants, upon completion of their run; receive a finishers medal, race gift and FREE race photos (to be posted in Facebook albums).

Spectators are welcome at the race precinct. Another good vantage point would be at Border Drive North Currumbin. Come prepared for a fun morning; bring your blankets, camp chairs and club/group marquees (please advise the event organiser prior to race week). The re will be coffee and a light food and drink offering - and the RSL opens at 10am!

RACE MERCHANDISE

All competitors will receive a free gift AND a Finishers Medal.

A limited amount of event specific merchandise will be made available in the lead up to the event and Triple Crown technical shirts and other Trail Trips merchandise will be available for sale on the day.

REFUND POLICY

OPTION 1) ENTRY TRANSFER

a) TRANSFER TO NEW PARTICIPANT

You can choose to transfer your entry to another participant for a $15 fee (payable by the recipient - plus whatever the agreed figure is that they pay you). After June 23rd, this fee increases to $20.

Entry transfers to new participants will be accepted until 1:59pm, Saturday August 3rd.

b) DISTANCE TRANSFER

This covers an existing participant transferring to a different distance to which you are currently registered. Note that if you wish to move from short course → long course you will be charged the additional entry fee; there is no fee refund when transferring from long → short. There is no additional charge for this transfer.

Entry transfers to a new distance for existing registered participants can be completed up until 1:59pm, Saturday August 3rd.

OPTION 2) ENTRY FEE REFUND

You can choose to take a refund of:

  • 75% of entry fee returned for withdrawals up to 4 weeks prior to the event

  • 60% of entry fee returned for withdrawals between 2 and 4 weeks prior to the event

  • 50% of entry fee returned for withdrawals between 72 hours and 2 weeks prior to the event

  • No refunds if withdrawing less than 72 hours prior to the event.

Alternatively, you can select the Refund Protection available as part of the registration process.

EVENT CANCELLATION

In the event that the Event course is, in the opinion of the event organisers, unsafe (e.g. heavy rain, high winds, bushfires, "acts of god" etc), or at the direction of the QFRS, Gold Coast City Council, Tweed Shire Council or the NSW Department of Primary Industries, the Qld Department of Health or in accordance with any Queensland Government directives, or any other relevant authority, organisers may be required to postpone or cancel the event.

Every attempt will be made to reschedule. Should a participant be unable to make the rescheduled date or no suitable date be available (due to venue unavailability, clashes with other events, landowner changes, etc); then participants affected will be offered a deferment valid for the following two years (less an admin fee of $25 - and you will still receive your event medal and gift for this year).
